1550nm 4-port Polarization Maintaining Optical Circulator (Fast axis blocked)
The 1310nm&1550nm 4-port Polarization Maintaining Optical Circulator (Fast axis blocked) is a compact, high performance light wave component that routes incoming signals from Port 1 to Port 2, incoming Port 2 signals to Port 3, and incoming Port 3 signals to Port 4. It utilizes proprietary designs and metal bonding micro optics packaging. It provides low insertion loss, broad band high isolation, high extinction ratio, excellent temperature stability and optical path epoxy free. It can be used for wavelength add/drop, dispersion compensation and EDFA applications.
DK Photonics offers a large selection of polarization insensitive or polarization maintaining 3-port/4-port optical circulator. These devices can handle powers rang from 300mW to 20W, and have center operating wavelengths ranging from 850nm to 1650nm.

- Above specifications are for device without connector.
- For devices with connectors, IL will be 0.3dB higher, RL will be 5dB lower and ER will be 2dB lower. The default connector key is aligned to slow axis. Power transmits through the connector less than 2W.
- The transmission optical path: Type A: 1 -> 2, 2 -> 3, 3 -> 4.
- For high power applications, we will use heat sink package, contact DK Photonics for details.
- For high-power applications, IL and ISO will be slightly worse due to the heat absorbed by the Faraday plate and the temperature rise. But they are all within a reasonable range. For more information, please contact DKP.
